A sparkling smile with a crooked tooth, a Wal-mart parking lot, a captivating personality and passion for life is where it all started. As time went by we became best friends, and it took me three year to realize he was more than just friend material. From the moment we met, he knew that our friendship would blossom into a wildfire of love! This blue eyed boy made it quite apparent that I was his main focus. As months went by we became inseparable friends and did everything together, riding quads, snowmobiling, water sports and more. Come to find out, I was his first time for everything; his first kiss, his first girlfriend and much more! I find it really special that we're able to share countless amounts of "first times" with each other.

Eight months ago, our friendship transformed into a relationship. Seemingly unfortunate soon after, he joined the United States Navy, but we decided to make it a positive change to make us stronger and realize just how much we love each other. Our relationship took a big leap on the 26th of December, on his Christmas leave, he came home and proposed to me in the frosty snow, and sprightly I accepted. We talk several hours every day on the phone as much as possible before his deployment, and we take each other in like rays of sunshine! We're excited and anxious to start our lives together; being his fiancé, and foremost his best friend, I'll be waiting for his return home. Oceans apart, but never at heart, he is my sailor!
